You can find uniforms at the local Denver scout shop, which is close to Golden (6th and ~Simms), the online scout shop, or from a limited selection of gently used uniforms through our uniform exchange which we offer at the beginning of the scouting year.
Our pack uses class A uniforms at meetings and other events.
Lions will need a Lion t-shirt and scout belt. Any blue shorts/pants will be fine.
The other scouts will wear a button up "Class A" shirt, belt, hat, neckerchief, slide, patches 4 & 8 (for the pack numbers), and the den number patch. You can use badge adhesive (sold at the scout shop) or sew on the patches. Your den handbook will show you where to sew on patches. Rank patches will be earned each year and awarded at the pack meetings.
Class B uniforms (T-shirts) are available. These are used for less formal or physical activities (hikes, some den meetings, etc.).
We use Scoutbook to track achievements and awards for our Pack. Please log in to Scoutbook using your my.scouting login.
Your den leader will update Scoutbook with adventures your scout completes as a den, however if your scout completes adventures on their own (or with your guidance) you can also submit these in this portal.
Logging achievements in Scoutbook:
Navigate to scout and find current adventure
Insert completion date and provide comment for the leader to see. Select 'Save'
Anything with a comment and no completion will be orange and marked 'STARTED'
Anything with a completion date will be green and marked 'COMPLETED'
Den leaders can bypass these self reporting steps or confirm them
Anything at this stage will be blue and marked 'APPROVED'
All approved adventures are added to the Pack shopping cart and noted as 'To Purchase' and 'To Award'
Anything handed out at a Pack meeting will be yellow and marked 'AWARDED'
The Pack (K-5th) typically meets on the third Tuesday of each month. Please use the calendar or Scoutbook to see what meetings and events are coming up. Your Den Leader will let you know what date your meetings are.
We are a volunteer run organization. We do not collect dues for our unit and all of the leadership team are parent volunteers like you. Please fill out this short form to let us know how you can help!
