You can send emails through Scoutbook - if that is not working - see below.
1. Login to Google using the info@goldenpack48.org user or request to have permission to send emails to pack@goldenpack48.org.
2. In the Google Apps (the icon looks like 9 tiny squares in the upper right corner of the screen), click on it and select the "Mail" app.
3. Click on "Compose" and from there its self explanatory. The groups you have defined will show up in the filters for the "To:" field (i.e., if you start typing "den", then the list of all groups with "den" in the title will show up). You would select all den's listed or whichever den you want to communicate with. If you want to communicate with the entire pack, just address the email to pack@goldenpack48.org.
4. Logout of Google with the info@goldenpack48.org user.
1. Login to Google using the info@goldenpack48.org account.
2. In the Google Apps (the icon looks like 9 tiny squares in the upper right corner of the screen), click on it and select the "Admin" app, which is all the way at the bottom of the list (you'll have select "More" to see it).
3. Select "Groups - Create groups and mailing lists".
4. You will then see the current mailing lists we have for all existing dens as well as the leaders and pack list. From this screen, its pretty self-explanatory. You can individual click on any group and make changes (e.g., add, modify, delete email addresses or users) or create/delete groups. The current list of email groups is sufficient for use within the pack and will be used over and over through the years. So, as a part of periodic cleanup, please do not delete any existing groups (i.e., den#, leaders, pack). Just remove the individual email addresses that are part of the group. For example, if that group needs to be temporarily retired such as a den "graduating". By simply removing the individual email addresses from that group, the group will remain active and won't require recreation when desired for use in the future.
5. Logout of Google with the info@goldenpack48.org user.
1. Login to Google using your den leader google account if permission has been given.
2. Go to google groups.
3. Select Your Den email group.
4. Add or remove members. If you do not have permission to do so, contact info@goldenpack48.org.
5. Logout of Google with the info@goldenpack48.org user.
